Registration and login are required to submit items online and to check the status of current submissions.

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

 Transfer of copyright from the Author(s) to Publisher is required for each paper/article in order to protect both from the consequences of unauthorized use of its contents.  Consequently, as a condition to publication it is essential that authors grant the International Institute of Informatics and Cybernetics (IIIC) the rights, including the subsidiary rights, of their paper/article/abstract.  However, authors and their respective employers retain all proprietary rights and other rights as indicated below.

COPYRIGHT TRANSFER

  • 1. The undersigned hereby assigns to The International Institute of Informatics and Cybernetics (IIIC) all rights under copyright that may exist in and to the above Work. The undersigned hereby warrants that he/she is the author, or co-author of the Work. If the Work includes text passages, figures, data or other material from the works of others, the undersigned has obtained any necessary permissions.
  • 2. The undersigned represents that he/she has the power and authority to make and execute this assignment.
  • 3. The undersigned agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the IIIC from any damage or expense that may arise in the event of a breach of any of the warranties set forth below.
  • 4. If the work was prepared jointly, the undersigned author should sign as authorized agent for the others, agreeing to inform co-authors of the terms of this agreement.
  • 5. The author also warrants that the Work contains no libelous or unlawful statements, and does not infringe on the rights of others. The undersigned author is responsible for the whole content of the Work he/she is submitting for its publication.
  • 6. It is the responsibility of the undersigned author, not the IIIC, to determine whether disclosure of their material requires the prior consent of other parties and, if so, to obtain it. Responsibility for the content of any published Work rests upon the authors, not IIIC.

RETAINED RIGHTS/TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  • 1. Authors/employers retain all proprietary rights in any process, procedure, or article of manufacture described in the Work.
  • 2. Authors/employers may reproduce or authorize others to reproduce the Work, material extracted verbatim from the Work, or derivative works for the author's personal use or for company use, as long as the original publication made by IIIC is adequately referenced.
  • 3. Authors/employers may make limited distribution of all or portions of the Work prior to publication if they reference the coming IIIC publication.
  • 4. In the case of a Work performed under a U.S. Government contract or grant, the IIIC recognizes that the U.S. Government has royalty-free permission to reproduce all or portions of the Work, and to authorize others to do so, for official U.S. Government purposes only.
  • 5. Although authors are permitted to re-use all or portions of the Work in other works, this does not include granting third-party requests for reprinting, republishing, or other types of re-use.

INFORMATION FOR AUTHORS

IIIC Copyright Ownership

The IIIC distributes its publications throughout the world and does so by various means such as hard copy, electronic media, etc. It may also abstracts its publications, and articles contained therein, for inclusion in various collective works, journals, compendiums, databases, and similar publications.

Reprint/Republication Policy

The IIIC requires that the consent of the first-named author and employer be sought as a condition to granting reprint or republication rights to others or for permitting use of a Work for promotion or marketing purposes.

 

Privacy Statement

The names and email addresses entered in this journal site will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of this journal and will not be made available for any other purpose or to any other party.
